Appreciated our stay, would recomand. Everything was good, really kind staff, absolutely gorgeous views of the lake. We were given a big room with a safe box, a sofa bed, and an iron. Finally, the hotel's restaurant was good for breakfast.

The close proximity of skislopes, shops, cafes and restaurants, train and everything. It has a very sentral location wich is nice. Very nice room and colourscheme of furnitures and the room. Nice, big bathroom.
Much noise from the hallway in bothn nigttime and the morning. Both guests who where out on town and children in the morning made a lot of noise.

Nice integration with a spa (In the building). Ski rental in the building.
Location is a bit off. (a bit). The planning of the hotel allows too big exposure of staff continuously (maids, cleaners, staff carrying boxes etc.).

Lots of activities for kids including a massive pool complex. Safe. Handy for the train station. Nice lake views if you have a room overlooking the lake.
Very expensive - particularly if your room rate does not include entry to the pools, saunas, gym etc. Limited food choices, very bad for vegetarians. Housekeeping staff grumpy and not very thorough. Standard rooms almost laughably ill equipped (eg no plug in the bathroom basin). Hard walk uphill to the main ski lift.

Hotell looks fancy, and it gives wrongly good expectation about it. Reception desk refused to provide 2 pills of paracetamol to me (I am a pregnant woman and felt myself bad), they told me to buy a package of pills in the 24hours shop close to the reception desk. Reception desk refused to help with providing the freezer for our products that we had with us. They said we should contact the hotell's restaurant by ourself. Is it a normal behaviour of the reception desk? It's their job to settle us in the hotel and help us with our needs! Bathroom is big, but incredibly cold! No heating in the floor, and floor is covered with cold glazed tiles. Not possible to get more or less hot shower: when you add hot water, shower returns water temperature back to just warm, and I was not able to warm myself up in the shower! There is only one heater in the room, based on the hot water, it was set to max temperature, but it was barely warm. Room was incredibly cold! (Beginning of November 2011). tv is hanging not in front of the bed, but in front of the sofa, far away from the bed. Why a room for only 2 people designed to watch the tv in the cold sofa, not in the bed? No kettle or no even normal glass cups in the room. Only couple of plastic cups in the bathroom! The swimming pool closes already at 20:00, and opens only at 10:00. That's too early in the evening! We arrived exactly at 20:00, and at 11:00 we were leaving the hotell, and had no possibility to have a visit there. Restaurant closes already at 21:00! Poor choises in the evening menu! Very bad hotell!

The breakfast was marvellous, with outstanding food; the location was comfortable and perfect for getting around, with the train station right next door, and it was conveniently close to the city centre.

It is near the train station and is connected by an internal bridge! Clean, great facilities! Everything you need!
It is the first hotel ever that I have visited and has a check in time at 16:00!
